Time now to check out the accomplishments of a J-V team and none better than the Dunbar Mighty Men. As we take our occasional dip away from the hardwood, we find Dunbar’s freshman taking on the freshman from CVS at rain drenched Gately stadium. The steady deluge of precipitation did not dampen the spirits or abilities of the Dunbar squad in their 8-0 victory earlier today. Scoring the only touchdown was Rondale Parker (Pictured above/below). This fleet footed wide receiver dazzled his team and fans on many key offensive plays throughout the game. “Outrunning my pursuers and making them miss is easily my biggest strength ,” he told us. Keep an eye on Mr. Parker as well as this Dunbar team when many of them go varsity.

We would also like to thank head coach Patrick Jerome and his staff for their gracious treatment. Coach ‘Pat’ allowed us access to both his halftime and post game locker room gatherings with the team; we believe you and the enthusiastic, animated and none-to-camera-shy guys from Dunbar will enjoy this all-access glimpse.
